Grandorf Vet Renal Dog Food
Grandorf Vet Renal is a complete veterinary diet formulated to support dogs with chronic kidney disease (CKD) or acute kidney insufficiency. It is designed to help reduce the workload on the kidneys by providing a moderate level of high-quality, highly digestible protein and a reduced phosphorus content, which are key nutritional goals for dogs with kidney disease.
The recipe features a single animal protein source (deboned turkey), making it suitable for dogs with food sensitivities or allergies. It is grain free and gluten free, with sweet potato as the main carbohydrate source. The diet is enriched with salmon oil and algae oil, providing omega-3 fatty acids (EPA and DHA) to support kidney health and reduce inflammation. It also contains prebiotics, probiotics, and postbiotics to promote digestive health, along with calming herbs such as chamomile and passionflower.
This diet should only be fed under veterinary supervision. It is recommended for dogs with kidney disease but is not suitable for puppies, pregnant or lactating dogs, or dogs with known intolerance to its ingredients. Initial use is generally recommended for up to six months, with continued feeding based on veterinary advice.
